The only thing I would say is that there wasn’t much time between finishing starters and the main was out in no time at all. Cooked to perfection!
Attentive service. I showed her my email confirming the reservation and she no no I told open table I was full in the morning. We booked late on the off chance of a table but were made to feel very welcome. I was looking for somewhere romantic and I was not disappointed by any means. Recs: -Bleu cheese Brussels sprouts pizza was triumphant, absolutely covered in perfectly roasted sprouts, soaked in balsamic and sprinkled with funky nutty cheesy bits!!
We love this place and visit everytime we come to London!really good food as always and beautifully presented. We also loved the personable approach of the staff, clearly a family run business, we had a really nice time !
Basically a good surprise to discover.Perfect ‘local’ restaurant- very authentic French restaurant. Book now at L'Aventure in London. I liked the decor and tables not too close together. Also take some time to browse the hotel's local art collection and the book store, which sells art books and prints.
We had the mushroom croustillant and artichoke heart for starters, which were very flavoursome.

Great food and characterful staff. We had a superb lunch in a most comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. There is a wide choice plus the daily specials.
We ordered some of the house wine and it was quite ok. Kitchentype Traditionnal French Italian Brasserie Seafood Gastronomic De Bistrot. Her manner is disgusting and she made rude comments, that we heard when she walked away from our table. Service a but stretched as busy with lively customers, but all smiles in the end so happy too return and recommend to others. The bill was high for what we received, in my view, as the portions were more than modest but less than generous but as long as you are prepared for that, it is a good evening out in a relaxing atmosphere with good tasty food. It’s a wonderful little neighborhood French restaurant. Food delicious and excellent service.Incredible food and wonderful experience all around.
The food was delicious as always and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.
Anyway we had a lovely evening and will certainly be going back," It was impossible to contact the restaurant directly to confirm if this was so.
The staff were most attentive and the quality and presentation of the food was excellent.Excellent food, beautifully charming French surroundings, welcoming and personal service.
lovely atmosphere.we had very pleasant evening. Really tasty hotel restaurant, with reasonably priced menu options. Our second visit this year and just as enjoyable.
Thank you very much L’AventuraWe arrived just before 8pm.
You could believe you are in a 'Paris". perfect for couple dining!Wonderful french food; lovely atmosphere with wafts of the jasmine from outside in the summer; charming patronne; good service; my favourite London restaurantWe have had a Sunday lunch and were surprised that the restaurant was not busy. The food is also really delicious and the we didn't have to wait long at all for service - my sister has an especially restricted diet but the staff were able to offer her an alternative and the chefs whipped something up that she found delicious.
Although it’s secreted away in the leafy suburbs of St John’s Wood, eating at this thoroughly romantic evergreen might just transport you to the heart of Paris – an illusion of bonhomie reinforced by gregarious owner Catherine Parisot and her thoroughly Gallic, genuinely welcoming staff. Transpired that they only started being open on Sundays.
