By day two we had had enough of the local salty cheese you get with every meal!All the guesthouses only take cash so make sure you bring enough.Guest House Gogia was the best place we stayed with friendly hosts and tasty fresh food. We only met a handful of trekkers over the 4 days who were walking in this direction.The main reason to do it the ‘right way’ around, i.e. As a result we avoided the school holidays in Georgia and Europe (July and August) which is the busiest time.

The views of Mount Ushba in the distance are breathtaking.
