We were looking for a nice and peaceful getaway, and located the website of Lac des Roches Resort in Lone Butte, B.C. There's no way that's the case! Now he is threatening to put a charge on my credit card to replace the towels (at $25 EACH). At the same time, deposits amounting to over $1,100.00 made for seven similar reservations by our relatives were not returned even though they also cancelled within the specified time frame of the resorts cancellation policy in place at the time of their booking. If you are foolish enough to deal with this resort, you will find the manager very difficult to deal with as his email communications are vague, contradictory and at times almost unintelligible.
