Beautiful bedroom up a spiral staircase, stunning bathroom and a farmhouse parlour for our use on the ground floor with coffee machine. Half board was the trouble. The town of Cancale is certainly a walkable distance - took us about half an hour to the sea front but we stopped off to look at the town square. It's true, there was an elevatore. Upon arrival, their reception/office was actually closed so we were forced to search out other accommodations late in the day. Busstop (Quatrevais) is nearby, we used a taxi to arrive from St Malo (approx 25 euros).We arrived in Cancale expecting to stay at another hotel.
